Bringing In Items to be Sold

Think green and recycle your used (or new) items with us! We accept merchandise in good condition for auction on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, or by appointment. A consignment contract (receipt) will be written up listing all the items you have brought in, and you will be given a copy of your receipt. For a list of items we can and cannot sell, please see our Frequently Asked Questions tab. Below is a list of estate services we offer.

  • Company Buy-Out: We purchase your items outright. Sell your items to us and get cash on the spot.

  • Partial Clean-Out: Our staff will identify items with value for the auction and list them. We will box those items and transport them to our facility for sale in the auction, only leaving you with items to donate, dump or recycle. Charge is by the hour and job. (Note: there are no up-front costs for this. All fees are clearly explained, written out, and then taken off your auction proceeds.)

  • Total Clean-Out: We will clear out your entire house! Together, you and our staff will list and then remove items for the auction. Our staff will help clear out cupboards, drawers, closets, garage, etc. We will also box auction items and transport them to our facility. Remaining items can be donated, dumped or recycled, which we then take to the appropriate facilities. Charge is by the hour and the job. Dump and recycling fees and a deposit for a dumpster will be added separately. (Note: there are no up-front costs for this. All fees are clearly explained, written out, and then taken off your auction proceeds.)

  • Do-It-Yourself: You box all items to be sold at the auction, then you haul all items to be sold to the auction facility. (Note: No cost.)

When will my items be sold?

The timing of when your items will go up for auction depends on how many items we have in storage. Typically, your items will sell within 30 business days when you bring them in.

How do you advertise my items?

We will catalog them, display them, take photographs, put them on our website and advertise them locally, statewide and nationwide. We attract buyers to our online auction from across the country!

Commission and Payment

Typically, you get 65% and we get 35% of the sold amount. We will negotiate commission on higher yielding items such as cars and boats, or valuable items like jewelry, art, etc. Your check will be sent to you within 45 business days of the auction that your items were sold in. We will provide you with an itemized listing of the selling price of each of your items. This formal accounting and audit system provides security and accuracy of settlement.
